Opening Ceremony of Karachi Stadium
The National Stadium Karachi is getting ready for a big night, marking the end of 126 days of hard work and renovation.
The upgrades, which started on September 28 and wrapped up by January 31, have completely changed the look and feel of the stadium, bringing it up to international standards.
PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi gave credit to the Labours, contractors, and PCB team, highlighting the dedication of FWO and NESPAK, who played a key role in making this transformation happen.
The opening ceremony promises to be a night to remember, with Ali Zafar, Shafqat Amanat Ali, and Sahir Ali Bagga set to take the stage for some high-energy performances.
Fans can also look forward to a fireworks display and a light show, and the best part is free entry for everyone.
The stadium itself has seen major improvements, including a rebuilt pavilion, new seating in every enclosure, renovated hospitality boxes, and modern LED lights.
Plus, the fences have been removed, so fans can finally enjoy an unobstructed view of the action.
And this is just the beginning on February 19, the ICC Champions Trophy kicks off at the stadium, with Pakistan facing New Zealand in the first match.
Naqvi assured that all teams will get the best facilities, setting the stage for a top-class tournament.
